I think the biggest problem we have is the prospect of drowning in our on noxious fumes from power generation. I don’t know so much about India, but the US is providing tax credits through energy star for solar home systems. Solar home systems do not pollute, and once the initial investment is made, provide free and non-polluting solar energy with little maintenance costs.
